Lizzie Breakwell – Ecological Consultant

Lizzie is an ecological consultant with thirteen years’ experience in both consultancy and as a freelance ecologist. She has worked on a great many projects of varied sizes from small private household alterations to large-scale residential developments. Lizzie holds personal survey licences for bats (Level 2), great crested newt and dormouse, is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental and Ecology Management (CIEEM), a Full Member of the Royal Society of Biology and a Fellow of the British Naturalists’ Association.

Complementing her ecological field and laboratory work, Lizzie also has a background in business and the media (working for Top Gear at the BBC). She gained her MSc in Advanced Methods in Taxonomy and Biodiversity from Imperial College London in 2010, a course which was based at the Natural History Museum.
