Once planning consent has been granted for your project, you may have a number of conditions relating to ecology that need to be discharged, often before development commences.
If a licence from Natural England (such as a European Protected Species Mitigation Licence) is needed for your site, this can only be applied for once planning consent has been granted and all ecological conditions have been discharged.
Breakwell Ecology can assist in discharge of ecological conditions, such as preparation of documentation and Ecological Clerk of Work (ECoW) services, including:
- Construction Ecological Management Plans (CEMP).
- Landscape and Ecological Management Plans (LEMP).
- Habitat Protection and Enhancement Schemes.
- Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) services such as ‘toolbox talks’ for site personnel, pre-construction and construction phase checks for protected species, species translocation, co-ordination of the implementation of European Protected Species (EPS) mitigation licences.
- Consultation with the Local planning Authority and other relevant consultees.
- Advice on the protection of ecological features and protected species mitigation measures.
If you don’t see what you’re looking for above, we can probably still help. Breakwell Ecology can provide you with expert guidance and practical solutions to navigate the ecological aspects of your development with confidence. Get in touch today to see how we can assist.
